LOISIA

LOISIA

About us

Agricultural community in the Petite Montagne Jurassienne region.
Loisia, an ancient Gallo-Roman site, is home to the Suran spring. The village is famous for the statue of the goddess Epona, discovered in 1860. Its church is dedicated to Saint-Maurice. The hamlet of Bois-du-Ban offers panoramic views of the Haut-Jura and the Suran valley, and there are two other hamlets in the commune: Champagne and Les Carrats. The commune is equipped with a camping car park, and an inn welcomes visitors with a sweet tooth.
