VERIA

Petite Montagne village.
Situated in one of the first valleys of the Premier Plateau du Jura, the Commune comprises the town of Véria and the hamlets of Granges Picard and Granges de Nom. The latter was once an independent Commune. Its highest point (Mont Charvet), at 643m, offers breathtaking views over the Suran valley, the high Jura chain and the summit of Mont-Blanc.
Véria is home to a church dedicated to Saint-Martin, whose nave dates back to the 14th century.
