L'Atelier Tilleli: a space for all possibilities!
A jack-of-all-trades, Hervé Mannino decided to put his creativity and
his passion at the service of other craftsmen and artists in the wider
area, regardless of administrative boundaries. Thus was born
in 2022 the Atelier Tilleli at number 88 de la Grande Rue in Cousance.
"My idea has always been to bring together different artistic and cultural practices in the same space. Painting, art turning, ceramics, cabinetmaking, artistic furniture-making... The selection of creations on display is not based on my tastes, but on an appreciation of artistic and technical mastery. My wish: to encourage all possibilities!
I don't know of any place like it. When I stumbled across this former café for sale on Grande Rue, the possibility of this space was an obvious choice. This place is built around an exhibition open to the public and a dynamic, more event-driven part: author signings, meetings, a craftsman's demonstration. My ambition is also to show the work in progress. A great success, since Atelier Tilleli has also expanded this year a few kilometers away, to the Domaine de Eveils in Bruailles (71), where 70 artists are exhibiting. A fine echo of the workshop's name, "tilleli" being the Kabyle translation of the word
meaning "freedom".
